Enter to Win a River Rafting Trip
W.E.T. River Trips has generously donated a river rafting trip on the American River this year, to help celebrate the Humor Times 23rd Anniversary Issue — the April issue!
To enter, fill out the form below. The deadline to enter is midnight, April 30, 2014.
The winner will receive a river rafting Trip for Two on the “Chili Bar Express” on the South Fork American river. (9am-1:30pm, lunch not included. One winner only, for one pair of tickets. See more details below the entry form, scroll down.)
The winner will be chosen at random from the entries with the correct answer to this question:
How many issues has the Humor Times (formerly the Comic Press News, which issues are included) printed, as of the April 2014 issue?
Hint: The first issue was April, 1991, but we have not always printed 12 issues a year, as we do now, and the first year was not a full year.
If you don’t know, guess! You may enter as often as you wish. Good luck!
In the event that more than one person gets the correct answer, the river rafting trip winner will be chosen at random from the correct submissions. The decision of the Humor Times staff is final.

About the American River, from the W.E.T. River Trips website:
The most popular river in the western United States has more consistent rapids than any river in California. Flowing through the original Gold Rush discovery site in Coloma, the South Fork American River is a paddler’s dream river. This section is very popular with group rafting trips such as corporate team building, youth groups and family rafting programs. W.E.T. has family river rafting trips during the week with special savings.
The South Fork American has the longest river rafting season in California and/or the West Coast, March through September. The high water is usually in May, with normal flows in summer and fall months.
