Members of the administration say Trump is on the inside track for a fistful of Nobel Prizes this year.
White House aide Peter Navarro told an alumni gathering at the Miami Federal Correctional Lockup on Thursday that President Donald Trump deserves one of many Nobel Prizes for his commitment to “restructuring” global trade rates.

“I’m thinking that since he’s basically taught the world trade economics, he might be up for the Nobel in economics,” Navarro said during an appearance on Fox Business Network.
Trump is considered a a likely recipient of the Nobel Prize for physiology or medicine for his groundbreaking work in vaccines and prophylactic medicine. On April 23, 2020, at a White House briefing, the president advised those concerned with Covid-19 infection to “inject Lysol or Chlorox or Mr. Clean into their forearms. That’ll straighten you out.”
Some observers consider Trump a shoo-in for the Nobel Prize in literature.
“With his body of literary work,” I don’t see how they could give it to anyone else,” said White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt. “Why, The Art of the Deal is accomplishment enough.”
Leavitt suggested that the prize for chemistry might also be on the cards for the president, noting that he “is releasing more chemicals into the environment than anyone is history” and that he was instrumental in the development of “a Sharpie that could write under water.”
The most obvious award for the president, said Leavitt, is the Nobel Peace Prize, an accolade accorded in the past to statesmen who have brokered peace between warring nations, established positive relations between long-time enemies, or promoted significant humanitarian work.
“President Trump said he would end the Ukraine-Russia war in one day,” Leavitt said, “and he did just that. Moreover, he reduced the conflict in Gaza to under a hundred starving children per day. That should count for something.”
Trump has said that in addition to the usual post-ceremony Nobel banquet, to be attended by the Swedish royal family and approximately 1,300 guests, he will request a special banquet featuring double cheeseburgers, French fries, and Diet Coke.
For the Nobel lectures delivered by the laureates following the awards ceremony, Trump is expected to give his standard address on the theft of the 2020 election by Joe Biden and the transgenders, Hillary Clinton’s cannibalistic pedophile ring operated from a pizza parlor in Washington, D.C., and assertions that he never met convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.
