Charge of Treason: Obama Ankle Monitor

Pending charge of treason invoked to limit ex-president’s activity.

Former President Barack Hussein Obama was taken into custody briefly on Tuesday by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents and fitted with a special GPS-enabled ankle monitor to allow authorities to keep tabs on the 44th president, whom President Donald Trump has called “treasonous to the core.”

“They tried to rig the election, and they got caught. And there should be very severe consequences for that,” Trump told reporters on Tuesday, hours after Obama’s arrest.

Trump’s comments came after Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard submitted a criminal referral to the Department of Justice threatening Obama with a charge of treason and sedition.

Asked about Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche’s meeting with Ghislaine Maxwell, convicted in 2022 for participation in the sex-trafficking operations of billionaire financier Jeffrey Epstein, Trump referred to Obama as the “leader of the gang.”

“Hussein Obama was a prominent figure in the Epstein pedophilia ring,” Trump said. “He even trafficked his own daughters, testing the market, as it were. This was treason. This was every word you can think of, and I’ve got the best words.”

Trump said Obama and his associates had attempted to subvert the government.

“It was sedacious! They tried to steal the election. They tried to obulscate the election,” Trump said. “They did things that nobody’s ever even imagined, even in shit-hole countries.”

An AI-generated fake video reposted on Trump’s social media platform over the weekend showed Obama being arrested in the Oval Office. The video was posted on TikTok before being reposted on Trump’s social media platform on Sunday.

“It’s just life imitating art,” said White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt. “We ain’t kiddin’ around here.”
